OUR STORY

The Grace We Are Meant to Give

In Singapore, a child wakes up knowing school is waiting.
In Gaza, a child wakes up wondering if school still exists.
One holds a pencil.
The other grips the edge of survival.

I was born in Singapore — where education is air: unseen, constant, expected.
Even in hardship, the system catches you.
You don’t question whether you’ll go to school.
You question whether you’ll like it.

And yet beyond our island, across borders stitched by conflict and poverty,
education is not assumed — it is stolen.

In Gaza, more than 625,000 students have had their education violently disrupted.
In India, over 33 million children live in multidimensional poverty — most will never finish school.
In Afghanistan, millions of girls are locked out of learning by law.
Globally, 160 million children are working — many in conditions that could kill them.
And nearly 70% of 10-year-olds in low-income nations can’t read a simple sentence.

This isn’t a crisis.
It’s an inheritance of injustice.
And it is spreading silently — while the privileged sleep peacefully.

But some people are awake.

Gratia Vita was born when one such soul — raised in Singapore’s safety — looked into this abyss and heard God say:
“I didn’t bless you so you could stay comfortable. I blessed you so you could carry those who weren’t.”

This is not a brand.
It is a breach in the silence.
A refusal to accept that birth should determine destiny.

Gratia Vita — Latin for Grace of Life — is the belief that if we’ve been given grace, it must not stop with us.

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.”
— Proverbs 31:8

We are not here to pity children.
We are here to partner with them.
To use athletes, creators, donors, and disruptors to turn the world’s attention toward the forgotten.

This is not charity.
This is course correction.
This is heaven’s reminder that the grace you were given... was never meant to stay with you.

OUR GOALS

🏫 Reclaim Education as a Right

Break down the financial, political, and systemic barriers that keep children out of school — especially in conflict and poverty zones.

🗣️ Amplify the Voices of the Forgotten

Use athletes, storytellers, and creators to spotlight children the world chooses not to see — until now.

🛠️ Build Sustainable Pathways to Hope

From sponsorships to school supplies, we fund tangible, long-term change — not just awareness.

🕊️ Give Grace Where the World Withheld It

We exist to give back what was stolen — dignity, access, and the simple joy of learning.
